Lesson 1 - Oropūare and Orokati, Vowels and Consonants

Today for Māori we were learning about The Māori alphabet (arapū). The alphabet is made up of eight consonants and five vowels also two digraphs. Digraphs are two letters that turn into one sound. I really liked doing this activity and it was really easy. It is important that we have to remember the different between the long and short vowels. Check my activity right down there below! Ko te tumanako i pai koe ki taku tuhinga ( I hope you enjoyed my blog).
