Te Arapū Māori, the Māori alphabet

Today I have made a Maori Alphabet, we had to know our Maori alphabet, like the aeiou and the ones with macrons.

It was easy to do and fast.
The only hard part was when I had to go to the websites where the Macrons had but there was nothing.

Lesson 1 - Oropūare and Orokati, Vowels and Consonants

Today for Māori we were learning about The Māori alphabet (arapū). The alphabet is made up of eight consonants and five vowels also two digraphs. Digraphs are two letters that turn into one sound. I really liked doing this activity and it was really easy. It is important that we have to remember the different between the long and short vowels. Check my activity right down there below! Ko te tumanako i pai koe ki taku tuhinga ( I hope you enjoyed my blog).
