Moari Language week

            Moari Language Week

After Tongan Language week It was Maori Language Week. It was a blast at Maori Language week kind of. The pepeha was good. I finished it though. The weaving was really hard and my hands hurt when I did it, and when we did the dance with the Poi (if you are wondering what a Poi is, click POI).

Well I did not do the Thursday one. It was the dance because we had one da33y to practise and that day was Thursday and we always practice the Toku Maori Lyrics (If you click Toku Maori Lyrics it will pop up the lyrics) On Friday we performed a dance.

Before the dance LeiTupo did a speech or reading.

I don’t know if reading and speech is the same thing and every time a group does a dance they have to read one the pepeha except the little ones.

They were alright because they never did a pepeha.

When it was time to do the poi dance in my group the boys and I never did it. We were supposed to do it but they never added us, only the girls. The one that had too read their pepeha was Dianne.

At the end of the assembly, I forgot it was assembly after assembly . We were singing a song called Toku Maori and also E te atua (If you click E te atua something will pop up).

When I did a pepeha too press this.
